Episode Details

Lynn tells Dr Miller to get rid of the baby - but he can't because it's too late. Lynn becomes upset and threatens to kill the baby herself. She is given a sedative to calm her down. Greg is angry that nobody told her earlier about Lynn. He tells Meg that she's lost her human decency.

Franky is working the press in the Laundry. Bea arrives and forces Franky to give the press back to her. Franky easily gives in.

Meanwhile, Mum is in court. Her full name - Jeaneatte Mary Brooks is read out by the Judge. Mum has pleaded guilty to the charge of shoplifting. The Judge advises the court of his reasons for giving her a heavy sentence. He says that she has given up the normal and respectable live that has been given to her by her family. She is given 3 years and thanks the Judge for his verdict. Judith-Anne watches on, Mum doesn't notice her until she's being led out.

The women are lining up for their buy-up. They receive all of the items they have ordered. Lizzie tells Doreen that she's not sharing her buy-up with Franky anymore. Doreen tells Lizzie she's going to need a lot of luck to get one over on Franky. Lizzie goes to her cell and starts to hide the stuff she's bought, however Franky walks in on her. Lizzie tells Franky to get her own cigarettes. Franky tells Lizzie that 'old bones take a long time to heal' but Mrs Jackson comes in just in time to ensure Lizzie isn't hurt. Lizzie takes a swig of her surgical spirit, no doubt to calm her down.

Marilyn and Eddie go to the cupboard in the Recroom to talk about things. Bea is teaching Doreen how to knit. Franky comes in and is ignored by just about everyone. In the Recroom cupboard, Marilyn shows Eddie that she's on the pill so they can make love without her getting pregnant. Vera comes to the Recroom and asks where Eddie and Marilyn are and Bea makes a diversion - in the form of a fight - to distract Vera and allow Marilyn to make a quick escape, which she does.

The Governor has asked to speak to Marilyn and they talk about her forthcoming parole. Marilyn is to be released in two days time. Erica asks Marilyn about her future plans - Marilyn says she's not going back on the game.

Judith-Anne talks to her mother about Mum. Her mother tells her to stay away from her but she refuses. She tells Judith-Anne that Mum murdered her Grandfather and that she'll never forgive her.

Lynn is resting in the hospital. Meg comes to talk to her about the baby. They both talk about Lynn's time working for the Bentleys. We see a flashback scene of Mr Bentley and Lynn talking over an evening meal. Mr Bentley [click here!] asks Lynn about her boyfriends and suggests that Lynn has 'had dozens'. Lynn then went on to say that she remembers he'd been drinking. We see the flashback continue and we see that Mr Bentley tries to force himself onto her but she manages to get away. He follows her upstairs to her room which is where he raped her. Meg questions Lynn about her taking the baby and again Lynn protests her innocence.

Marilyn tells the other women about her parole. They're all happy for her, except Franky of course. Lizzie comes in and lights up a cigarette in front of Franky. Franky takes the packet from her and stands on them. Marilyn and Eddie are again in the Recroom cupboard talking. Eddie tells Marilyn that he loves her and wants to marry her. Marilyn says that she can't and runs out of the room. When Bea asks her why, she doesn't get any answers. Doreen comes in and tells the women that Mum is back.

Meg comes to see Erica about Lynn. Erica tells Meg that there's nothing to support the story that Lynn was raped by Mr Bentley, and that she was infact raped by some of her biker friends. Meg isn't so sure.

Mum is moved into her old cell. Meg doesn't understand why Mum wanted to 'come back to all of this'. Mum says that she belongs at Wentworth. She's a stranger to her family and is 15 years too late. Meg asks Mum if she'll find out more about Lynn - she wants her opinion on whether she thinks Lynn is telling the truth or not. Mum agrees.

Marilyn is packing her stuff ready for her release. Bea questions her why she said no to Eddie. She tells her that if she doesn't marry Eddie, she'll end up back inside.

Mum talks to Lynn in the hospital. Lynn confirms that she's been telling the truth. There's another flashback scene where we see Lynn questioned by the police. The police start asking Lynn where the baby is. Lynn doesn't realise that the baby is missing. The police think that she buried the Bentley's baby - who had been found in the garden, being kept alive buy a piece of hose-pipe which let the oxygen through.

Lizzie is snoring in her cell, which she shares with Franky. Franky can't sleep... she looks at Lizzie's false teeth in the glass of water by her bed... In the morning when Lizzie wakes, her teeth are nowhere to be seen. Lizzie knows that Franky has stolen them but she refuses to hand them back. Lizzie bursts into tears as Franky leaves.

In the Dining Room, Franky tells Doreen that Lizzie is on a diet - which is the reason for her not being present for breakfast. When Lizzie comes in, Franky laughs - the women find out what she's done. Karen calls her a 'rotten, fat cow'. Poor Lizzie, who is trying to eat her breakfast as best she can is called a pig by Vera. Realising she's beat, Lizzie gives in to Franky and says she can have her cigarettes. Franky gives Lizzie her teeth back.

Vera arranges an appointment with Greg for her mother who has become more sick. Mum comes to talk to Lynn again in the hospital. Mum tells Lynn that she believes her story.

Marilyn looks for Eddie in the prison but she finds out he's not coming in. In the meantime, in the laundry, Lizzie is wearing one of Marilyn's old dresses [click here!] that she has given to Doreen. It goes without saying that the dress needs to be altered before Doreen will fit into it! Lizzie tells Doreen that she's going to escape and shows her some wire cutters that she's managed to steal.

Franky has a visitor - her 16 year old brother, Gary - "Gazza". He tells her that he's got a job in the local store. He's wearing Franky's old leather jacket. They talk about the old times when Franky used to take him riding on her motorbike. Doreen peeps through the spy hole in the door and sees that Franky has a MALE visitor. She tells the other women, who immediately jump to the wrong conclusion. Gary shows Franky some plans he's got for a house in the country that they're going to build and live in when Franky's out of prison. She's not impressed with the idea...

Eddie comes to see Marilyn. Vera calls her by the name Gladys - her real name. She tells Eddie that she'll move in with im as a trial run to see how it works out. Then, they'll get married if things go ok.

Franky comes back to the laundry. The women taunt her about her visitor. Franky attacks Doreen - who then tells Lizzie she wants to join her when she escapes.

Meg comes to see the Bentley's gardner, Larry. He doesn't want to see her. When she gets back to Wentworth Meg tells Lynn that there's a possibility that her case could be reopened. Erica arranges for the police to come and talk to her about it.

The nurse notices that some turps is missing from the hospital... Lizzie has it and is drinking it in her cell!

Doreen hides the wire cutters in the prison garden. Mum notices them but puts them back.

Judith-Anne comes to visit Mum. They talk about Judith-Anne's grandfather. She asks Mum why she killed him. Mum tells her that her grand-father didn't want to die in pain. He was terminally ill. When he couldn't stand the pain any longer he asked Mum to help him. She couldn't at first, but did eventually... Judith-Anne tells Mum that she'd like to see her again.

Lizzie is in her cell, asleep - drunk. Doreen comes in as she thinks it's time to escape but she can't wake her and realises that today isn't the day that they're going over the wall...
