Episode Details
Bea complains about the screws watching over them more than ever now that Franky and Doreen have escaped. Marilyn complains and then they discuss the fact that Eddie wont want to see her again as it was her fault he lost his job. They meet up with Mum and she is also upset as she was expecting a visitor.
Greg is treating Martha Eaves for a burn, he sends her out and Karen walks in to talk to him. She tells him about what her mother said and then discusses a retrial with him. Greg suggests talking to her solicitor and tells Karen to tell him everything this time and reassures her that she is doing the right thing.
Doreen complains about being hungry again and about the place where they are staying. They notice a police man walking towards them and then they run and hide in what turns about to be a convent. Doreen suggests staying with them as they will know nothing about them. Frankie disagrees telling Doreen that she is trying to think of a plan.
We next see Doreen and Franky dressed as Nuns (!) walking down the road. [ ]
Bea and Marilyn are playing with a ball when Marilyn sees Eddie and runs over to him. He has come to visit her. Marilyn apologises for their involvement in getting him sacked.
Greg tells Karen that her solicitor is away for 3 months but someone else is willing to take on her case. Lizzie enters and Karen leaves. Greg examines Lizzie.
Doreen and Franky are walking along a street. Franky persuades Doreen to steal a charity tin from a shop and then they wander around asking people for donations.
Vera tells Eddie that the visit is over as Jean walks over to her, they take an instant dislike to each other and Jean asks to see Mum. Vera agrees [ ] and Jean tells Mum that Judith Anne is waiting to see her.
Judith Anne tells her grandmother that she is pregnant. Mum is surprised. She asks who the father is and is told that it is a boy in her class at school. She tells her grandmother that her mum wants her to get rid of it. She doesn't want to do that, she wants to keep the baby, she tells her that her mum has said that if she keeps it she must move out. She tells her that she can move out and when she gets out of prison she can come and live with them.
Greg is talking to Steve Wilson [ ], Mr Baldwin's associate. He thinks that they have no grounds for a retrial until Greg tells her about the new evidence he has found. Steve still isn't convinced that they will be successful and asks for valid evidence. Steve agrees to see Karen and Greg offers to cover all of the costs.
The women are working in the laundry when Vera walks in and confiscates their radio. Vera tells them that a new arrival will be moving in with Bea and Marilyn; someone who is tougher than Bea.
We next see a woman who is having a shower and singing. The officer [ ] tells Ferguson to get out of the shower as Vera walks in and tells her to get out before she is forced out.
Mum is talking to Jean about what's happened to Judith Anne. She tells Jean that she came back to Wentworth as she felt lonely and sees it as home and is regretting now as she is needed and can't do anything to help.
Bea tells Marilyn that she is going to show the new prisoner who is boss right from the start. Vera introduces Bea's new cell mate and they realise they know each other; Monica is the new prisoner and Vera isn't impressed that they know each other so well. Lizzie hears Monica's voice and we realise that they all used to be in prison together in a different jail to Wentworth.
Greg is talking to Karen. He tells her that Steve Wilson has agreed to look at her case as long as she tells him everything. Karen agrees and they share a kiss, just as Vera walks in and catches them, she tells Karen to leave and tells Greg that she is reporting him to the governor.
Monica explains to the women that the reason why she is in Wentworth is because she beat up her husband.
Erica and Greg are in her office. She reprimands Greg over his actions with Karen. He tells her that he used to be engaged to Karen years before. Erica finds out that Greg has set up a meeting with Karen and a lawyer to discuss her retrial, she reprimands him yet again.
Monica's snoring is keeping Bea and Marilyn awake. Marilyn is worried about Eddie being out of work and Bea reassures her that he will find a job soon. Monica wakes up and tells them off for talking as she cant sleep and then they tell her off for keeping them awake with her snoring! This then wakes the entire block.
The next morning Franky and Doreen are collecting money again, dressed as nuns. Franky comes up with an idea to find someone who is lonely and rich to make things better for them on the outside.
The women are working in the laundry. Meg comes in and tells Karen that a lawyer has come to see her.
The lawyer is waiting in the interview room as Karen is brought in by Meg. Steve questions Karen on what happened the day her husband died. She tells him everything.
Jean is sat in Erica's office, Meg walks in and sits down, the discuss the problems Mum is having with Judith Anne. Jean suggests Mum's case being reviewed by the parole board. Erica agrees on the condition that Jean acts as her parole officer. Jean leaves and Erica tells Meg that she needs to speak to Karen over her involvement with Greg.
Steve agrees to represent Karen and tells her he is going to question her neighbours where she used to live and her husband's mistress. He asks her why she never said anything at her trial and she believes that she should be punished for what she did. He leaves and Meg escorts Karen out.
Bea is asleep in the laundry when Monica walks in. She wakes her up and they agree to put the snoring incident behind them. Monica goes on to tell Bea about the shop she owns.
Franky and Doreen are searching for someone who is lonely and rich.
Erica is talking to Karen. She tells Karen that if it happens again, she will have no choice but to sack him. She also tells Karen that if she needs any further help with her retrial then she will have to go through her and not Greg. Meg walks in and tells Erica that Lynn Warner has been brought in on remand.
Lynn is getting ready when Meg comes to take her out. Meg tells her that she is disappointed that she is back inside, especially after she helped her to get out in the first place. Meg shows her to her cell and Karen follows behind, she asks Meg if she can see Greg and Meg refuses, telling her that it would be better if she talked to Lynn.
Mum is sat in the recroom when Lynn [ ] walks in, Mum apologises for what has happened. Bea and Monica walk in and Bea thinks Lynn is stupid to have got involved with something that put her back inside.
Franky and Doreen, dressed as nuns, find a house in which a lonely old woman lives. They question her about family and the neighbours and she invites them in. Franky uncovers an iron bar and follows Doreen in and shuts the door.
