The women are working in the laundry. Monica is operating the press. Lizzie finds a picture in a medical book she is reading of a man's anatomy and refuses to show it to Karen but shows it [CLICK HERE!] to Bea and Monica who make fun of her. Bea asks Monica if she has thought about Marilyn and Eddie running her shop and she says that she doesn't want them too. Bea grabs her as Vera walks in. Vera asks Karen to step outside and then warns her against trying anything else with Dr Miller.

The old lady; Miss McBride; is telling Franky and Doreen about her past. She takes the tea things into the kitchen. Franky tells Doreen that they are going to bash the old lady, take her money and then leave but Doreen refuses, telling Franky not to hurt her. Miss Mcbride asks them to stay a while longer and they agree to stay but not for long.

Monica is snoring again. Bea and Marilyn are awake. Bea apologises for not helping them more than she could. Bea gets up and smothers Monica will a pillow, she wakes up and Bea tells her that she will do it every night until Monica agrees to give Marilyn the shop. Bea asks her to let Marilyn look after it for a month and she agrees.

The next morning Mum is looking after the plants in her cell when Jean arrives; we find out that Mum's parole has been agreed and that Jean will be her probation officer. Jean tells her that she has found her a two bed roomed flat for her and her granddaughter. She also tells Mum to make sure it works this time. Mum asks Jean to help Lynn Warner.

Karen has a meeting with Steve. He tells her that he has spoken to the neighbours who have corroborated Karen's story about what her husband was like. He tells her that he hasn't been able to locate Wayne's mistress. He tells Karen that he can't understand why she put up with it for so long. She simply replies that they were married.

The women are out in the garden. Marilyn comments on Karen getting another visit from her lawyer and Bea thinks it's a waste of time. She thinks that Karen is as guilty as she is. Vera brings Eddie over to see Marilyn. Bea takes Marilyn away so that Monica can get to know Eddie better than she already does. Monica asks Eddie to run the shop with Marilyn and he refuses arguing with her. She then tells Bea that there is no way that she is giving her shop to them.

Lizzie is showing Greg the book that she has been reading. She believes she has cancer and Greg asks her to strip off. She refuses and tells Greg that she has it in her elbow. Steve walks in and Greg asks Lizzie to stop reading the book and leave. Steve tells Greg that he has decided to reopen Karen's case.

Marilyn isn't impressed with Eddie not agreeing to take over the shop. He tells her that he is a qualified electrician and not a shopkeeper.

The women are in the recroom watching television. Bea, Marilyn and Monica argue over what's happened today. Vera walks in and tells Karen to turn the television down. She also tries to confiscate Lizzie's book again, but Lizzie tells her that it belonged to the library and Mrs Jackson gave it back to her. Vera is annoyed at a remark made by Karen and puts her and Marilyn on cleaning duty.

Vera is watching over them as Meg brings Lynn down the corridor. Vera comments that she hasn't heard Lynn shouting about being innocent since she has been back inside.

Bea and Monica blame Vera for what's happened. Bea tells Monica and Lizzie that they are going to pay Vera back for what she's done. Bea asks for Lynn's help and she refuses.

Meg tells Vera that the women are not happy and that she knows something is going on. Vera tells her it's because she had to discipline the women as they were stepping out of line. She blames Eddie's visit and tells Meg that she doesn't know what's going on. She tells Meg about Greg's involvement with Karen and she blames Mrs Davidson's lack of security for Franky and Doreen escaping, claiming that if she was governor things would be different.

Doreen is cleaning Miss McBride's house. Franky cant believe what they are doing; if it had been up to her they would have bashed the old lady, stolen her money and left. Doreen tells her that she is pleased they didn't as no one will think of looking for them where they are. Miss McBride walks in and asks them to look at her garden and Franky quite bluntly refuses. She then asks Franky and Doreen if they would like a glass of sherry and they agree.

Monica is claiming of stomach pains the next day and Vera unlocks the cell door and tells her to get up. Bea sends Marilyn out and Lizzie comes to the door. Bea sends her away too. Vera tells Monica to get up and Bea shuts the door. Vera tells Bea not to try anything and Bea tells her its about time she had a taste of her own medicine. Vera is clearly shocked as they pin her to the bed.

Meg is escorting Marilyn, Karen and Lynn down the corridor. Marilyn tells them about Monica's appendicitis when Lizzie shouts for Mrs Jackson to follow Lizzie as Vera is bashing Monica and they cant stop her.

Bea punches Monica then apologises and she cowers in a corner as Meg walks in to see Vera standing over Monica. Bea tells Meg that Vera [CLICK HERE!] hit Monica and she couldn't do anything to stop her.

Monica is then telling Erica what happened with Meg listening also. Erica tells her that Dr Miller thinks there is nothing wrong with her. Monica puts it down to bad wind or indigestion and shouts at Erica to do something about Vera. Erica asks her to wait outside. Erica asks Meg if she thinks Vera is capable of bashing a prisoner and Meg disagrees telling her that she is a little harsh with the women but only because of her views on discipline. Erica and Meg both agree that they think the women set Vera up.

Outside her office, Bea, Lizzie and Doreen are taunting Vera further. Vera tells them that Mrs Davidson wont believe them and that when it all gets sorted out their lives wont be worth living, Meg hears this as she comes out and sends Vera in. Meg sends Monica to the laundry and then goes back into the governor's office.

Vera can't believe that Mrs Davidson is taking their accusations seriously. She tells Erica that she wouldn't jeopardise her record of service. Erica responds by telling Vera that the women have rights too. Vera gets very angry and makes the situation worse by telling Erica that she should be in charge. Erica then tells Vera to have a couple of days off until they find out the truth.

Lynn is telling Mum about what's happened with Vera when Mum notices her grand daughter, she is brought out by Jean who then talks to Lynn. Lynn wants nothing to do with her. Judith Anne tells Mum that she cant wait for her to get out the next and day and Mum asks her what their new flat is like.

Eddie is in the interview room, Meg brings Bea to see her first ever visitor. Eddie tells Bea that he will agree to run the shop if Monica gives them another chance and he asks Bea to try and talk Monica round, she agrees to do it for Marilyn's sake.

Bea and Marilyn are trying to talk Monica round in the recroom. Monica refuses until Bea tells her that if she doesn't let them have it she will tell the Governor that Monica set Vera up. Monica then agrees.

Vera is signing out as Meg walks in. She is visibly upset with Meg for taking their side over someone she has worked with for years.

Steve is in reception when Jean walks in. She asks Steve to give Lynn some legal advice and he refuses.

Mum is dressed and ready to leave as Lynn walks in. She tells Lynn that she won't ever be coming back and gets upset. She tells Mum that she wants her to be happy. Mum tells her that she will be.

Meg shows Steve into Jean's office. He tells her that he will not be treated as legal aid. He tells her that if she can pay, he will see Lynn for 5 minutes and she agrees.

Meg comes to collect Mum. They talk about what's happened whilst they've known each other and Mum invites Meg to the flat as soon as she has settled in. Meg takes her to see Mrs Davidson.

Marilyn is also packing up to leave. Bea tells her that she never wants to see her again. Marilyn says that she won't now she will be running the shop. Meg comes to collect Marilyn and she says her goodbyes to Bea, Monica and Lizzie.

Erica is talking to Mum and Marilyn in her office and she wishes them the best of luck with their new lives. Before they leave Erica asks them if they know anything about what's happened with Vera; they tell her that they don't know anything and she lets them leave.

Doreen sneaks up on Franky who should have been gardening. She tells Franky that she wont go on lying to Miss McBride and wants to tell her everything. Franky tells her that if she does she will bash Miss McBride. Doreen goes back in and Franky follows. Doreen begins to tell Miss McBride everything and she tells them that she has always known exactly who they are. She tells them that she doesn't care what they have done she enjoys having them in the house and tells them to stay as long as they like. She also tells Franky to get rid of the iron bar she is hiding.

Steve is in Jean's office. She brings Lynn in to see him. He questions her about her involvement in the robbery at the factory. He tells her that it doesn't look good for her as she did everything willingly and wasn't forced into doing anything she didn't want to. Lynn asks him if he will take on her case and he refuses. Jean tells him to leave. Lynn storms out of the office, clearly upset. Meg takes Marilyn and Mum to the gate where Judith Anne and Eddie are waiting. They all leave and Meg locks the gate.
