After taking all of the above into consideration, we believe that an acceptable annual membership fee is £12.99 per year, payable in advance. This amount is non-refundable and would work out at less than £1.10 per month.

Important: Supporting Information
While we are not interested in making a profit for ourselves from membership fees, it is important that a fund is built up to assist with operating costs and the production of merchandise etc.
Our Founders Scott & Barry have funded the website, Fan Club and personal appearances from their own pockets for almost 10 years and have spent thousands of pounds on OTI over the years. This is their own personal money and the time has come to ask for help.
The website costs over £400.00 a year to operate - including the domain registration and hosting charges, forum registration fees and mailing list charges, PO Box subscription... which may not seem like a great deal of money - but what it doesn't include is the physical man power, the time it takes us to create everything for you. We have full time and demanding jobs - but don't receive any payment for continuing to bring you OTI.
Our first batch of Prisoner polo shirts cost us over £350.00 to produce - this included the price of the actual shirts, plus the price of the font, the physical screenprinting and embroidering... we needed to make a return on the amount we paid out, which unfortunately we didn't.
We're dedicated and committed to preserving the few items of Prisoner memorabilia which are still available - uniforms and props are hard to come by and are not cheap. All of the memorabilia items that we own are used for displays in the various Prisoner events we hold and attend - the idea is that all fans can view them, not just a select few. We don't plan to lock them away so nobody gets the chance to see them.
Please don't read this as a complaint - we love running OTI and meeting other fans and cast members, but we can't afford to do it alone - hence the subscription fee. We believe that by being honest and reliable to our contacts is the only way to run this fan club.
OTI were authorised Official status by FremantleMedia in London in 2004. Our agreement is that any surplus profit that we make (i.e. after our own operating costs are covered) will be forwarded to FremantleMedia as a Royalty Payment. We are more than happy to do this - the last thing we want to do is make money for ourselves from loyal Prisoner fans.
Terms and Conditions
Due to the internet and ever increasing advantages in technology, we have no option than to offer OTI membership on a trust basis. This means that we are trusting our paid members not to share our members-only advantages to non-members.
We will be extremely disappointed if we see any of our membership advantages available outside of OTI, for example on eBay, YouTube or on other websites. Our interviews must not be reproduced as we own the copyright to them - these are exclusive to us, for you.
We have permission from the copyright holders to re-use the high quality images for the Fan Club - please do not make them available to anyone else by reproducing them.
If we discover that any of our Terms and Conditions have been broken, this may result in the offending member becoming banned from our fan club - with no refund of fees paid.
We have worked hard to make these benefits exclusive to members so please don't make us send anyone to solitary!
