9 APRIL 2008 : MAGGIE KIRKPATRICK TO STAR IN WICKED MUSICAL 
Prisoner star Maggie Kirkpatrick (Joan Ferguson) will play the role of Madam Morrible in the Australian production of Wicked: The Broadway Musical, opening at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne from 12th July 2008.
This long running musical will see Maggie doing whe loves - performing on stage to a packed audience.
The musical itself has received some brilliant reviews and the Melbourne leg will be no exception!

8 APRIL 2008 : PLANS FOR A PRISONER PARTY - 2009
Next year will see the 30th anniversary of Prisoner beginning filming. To celebrate the occasion, original Top Dog Val Lehman (Bea Smith) has plans for a huge party within the original Wentworth garden.
Details are still to be confirmed but it expected that the event will take place on Sunday 22 February 2009 at the Global Television Studios, where 'Wentworth' still stands today.
A number of cast and crew will be invited to attend with 300 Prisoner fans who will be treated to a gourmet BBQ.
Tickets will become available to buy in due course, initially to members of Val's Top Dog Club.

2 FEBRUARY 2008 : MEET MARGO! 
**THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT**
Actress Jane Clifton (Prisoner's Margo Gaffney), is making a long awaited return to UK shores in May this year. Although the visit is a working one, Jane has set aside one very special day to meet fans of her work.
Saturday May 10th at the Harcourt Hotel in Dublin is the venue and it promises to be a lot of fun. Spend the afternoon with Jane and a few glasses of wine and feel free to ask her all about her time on Prisoner, take photos and buy some rare merchandise to remember the day with.
