Brother of Rita Connors and fellow member of the Conquerors gang, Bongo is first introduced in episode 595 arriving at Ettie Parslow's home for wayward girls on his motorbike, to visit girlfriend Roach who is living there. He has an instant dislike to Ann Reynolds due to her association with Wentworth, and tries to embarrass her by answering the door naked when she visits Roach. Ann isn't phased, turning the joke back on Bongo by telling him she's learned not to let little things upset her (episode 596).
In an attempt to make Bongo take more control of his life away from the Conquerors, Dan arranges for a camping trip with him, Roach, Bongo and Ann. It doesn't go well and after an arguement (episode 602) Bongo and Roach storm off home on their bike.
Bongo arranges an attempt to get Rita out of the prison, but it ends in disaster when Dan is run over (episode 616) and seriously hurt. Bongo flees the scene but is caught by the police in episode 622.
We catch up with Bongo in episode 665 when Rita is transferred from Wentworth to the high security Blackmoor prison. Hooked on drugs with no hope of getting off them, Bongo's life has totally changed for the worst. Rita starts a riot at the prison but Bongo is used as bait against her by the corrupt prison Governor Ernest Craven. On Craven's orders, Bongo is shot dead by a marksman in front of Rita (episode 667).
Rita vows revenge and succeeds by burning Blackmoor down, forcing her transfer back to Wentworth.
