Employed by the Department as the prison electrician, called to visit Wentworth as and when needed to attend to electrical repairs and maintenance.
Eddie becomes friendly with inmate Marilyn Mason in episode 1 during a routine visit. They start a relationship within the prison, resorting to hiding in the ceiling cavity for some privacy.
When Marilyn is released in episode 7, she lives with Eddie in his bedsit.
Marilyn is released for good in episode 16, Eddie collects her and we hear later on in the series that they have married and are running Monica Ferguson's milk bar.
