Eve WilderEVE WILDER
Played by Lynda Stoner

Stunning socialite Eve arrives in Wentworth swearing her innocence for the murder of her lover Robin Sanderson (episode 575). During a flashback sequence later on in the series we find out that Eve is guilty of the murder - she shot Robin in bed.

Eve's solicitor David Adams falls in love with her and she persuades him to go to her flat and make sure that there is no evidence left which could incriminate her. He changes the mattress on the bed which had the bullet hole in and replaces it with a brand new one (episode 586). Joyce Barry overhears Eve and David talking in the interview room and when Eve realises this, she smashes the cell door against Officer Barry's head a number of times leaving her unconscious. She takes Joyce's keys from her and drags her body into Reb Kean's cell and frames Reb for the beating. David realises that he is too involved and cannot cope with all of the lies so shoots himself in front of Eve.

Eve plays all of the women off against eachother as they try and find out who the 'Phantom Lagger' is, who has been informing the officers when something happens. When Alice Jenkins overhears Eve admitting that she is the lagger to Joan, it's not long before Eve is hanged by Lou Kelly with all of the other prisoners watching on in the Recroom during episode 600.
