Sally is the very first character to be seen in Prisoner, being chased down the corridors by Vera Bennett and Meg Jackson, before being stopped by Franky Doyle with a swift elbow to her ribs. After being locked in her cell, Sally begins to freak-out, due to the fact is high on drugs. We later into the series find out the drugs Sally got high on were supplied to her by Officer Ann Yates.

When Doreen sneaks off to see Sally, she begs her to get Vera to see her and threatens to kill herself otherwise. Doreen tells her Vera is angry at her. It is implied that Vera and Sally used to get along prior to Sally's drug addiction but whether this is true or not is unknown. What is known is that Vera was the officer who confiscated the drugs that led to Sally's withdrawal. What is also known is Doreen is/was the last person to see Sally alive.

The next time we see Sally, all we see is her lifeless body as Meg Jackson and Karen Travers walk into Sally's cell. Her final moment on-screen is being carted off on a bed to the morgue.

On a good note, the very first of the halfway houses is named in her memory "Sally Lee House."
